Sunhokey PRUSA I3 Glue Stick Holder
thingiverse
This is a handy holder for a Cra-Z-Art (and other) glue stick that clips onto your Sunhokey PRUSA I3 printer. It's been designed in two parts to make re-mixing the clip easier for your printer. PLEASE NOTE!!!! Don't even think about forcing this into place! Acrylic is as brittle as it gets! Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Sunhokey Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 100% Infill: 10% Notes: Print using the lowest infill setting so that the clip can flex enough to attach to the printer. Post-Printing VERY IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ!!!! Print both parts and then glue them together. Apply glue only to the TOP SIDE! The clip needs some flexibility, so leaving 10mm or so of top side unglued will give it some room to breathe. Let the glue set before attaching. Don't even think about forcing it! Acrylic is super brittle and you'll break something for sure if you try to force it on. It will go on easy if you follow these directions below... It will slip right into place if you put the top of the clip in first, then use a flat-head screwdriver on the bottom half. Gently push it in while prying downward with the screwdriver... See photo. To remove, just reverse the above procedure.
