I made a support guide for the small lash in the X linear rail and attached a new Linear Rail to the X axis, which is 270mm long. This makes it run like a dream and produces much better quality prints in fast mode. I swapped out my old linear rail on the Z axis with a new one because I liked the steel color of the replacement part. I also added some small brass threads to heat up. Be careful when doing this, as it's not easy - try practicing on an old print or use smaller bolts instead. I made a short video of myself working at X8 speed, which is more of a "see how I do it" tutorial than a step-by-step guide. You can download the file in 3mm and 4mm bed mount hole sizes from the link below. If you want to try heating up the small brass threads, use the 4mm hole size.
