This spacer enables seamless installation of this fan duct: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:498238. My inductive sensor holder (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1029784) can be utilized with the Fan duct. Ten millimeters of Z height may be sacrificed, but I believe it's worthwhile as everything - hotend cooler, print cooler, inductive sensor, and improved X carriage (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:900225) - can be installed altogether. A new addition is the file "sunhokey hotend holder," which can replace the original acrylic part that mounts to the hotend; mine broke, so this replacement was necessary. The "sunhokey stabilizer" file mounts between the rear of the print cooler and the acrylic part (utilizing 2 screws from the fan). This configuration makes the entire setup more stable, allowing for more consistent auto bed leveling procedures. Print Settings Rafts: Yes No is also acceptable. The key point is avoiding it. Supports should be avoided as much as possible. Resolution: 0.3mm offers better results. Infill: 70% provides a good balance between structural integrity and weight. Notes: The spacer isn't a critical component. Easy to print, it securely mounts to the cold part of the hotend. Printing these parts in ASA or ASA-GFR provides optimal durability.
