Sunglasses made with a laser cutter
thingiverse
I picked up some leftover acrylic from Modulor in Berlin and stumbled upon a clear yellow that would make for fantastic shades. I created a simple design using Fusion360 and voila, my project began to take shape. Next, I used green gaffa tape on the front and as a means of attaching the legs in a flexible manner. It was a clever way to add some flexibility to the design without sacrificing its overall structure. By the way, my prototype was put through its paces at Motionlab Berlin.
