Sunglasses case (with voronoi pattern)

Ready for summer? Maybe not yet, but that's okay - I've got some advice to share with you. You're probably going to wear sunglasses, so I made a case for everyone. It's sleek and modern, perfect for men, women, and teens alike. This case will protect your lenses from scratches and bending, keeping them looking great all summer long. Plus, it's easy to print in color, so you can customize it to fit anyone's style. And the best part? It's completely free! That's right - I believe in the open-source community, and I want to share this awesome design with everyone. I printed this case on my Ultimaker using white PLA filament at 0.2mm resolution and 18% infill. My extruder was set to 210 degrees Celsius, and I used a heated bed at 60 degrees Celsius. To avoid curling up at the bottom of the print, I added a brim. Want to learn how to design your own trendy sunglasses case? Check out this video from Layer by Layer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kh5jKgsEQak. In it, you'll see how to model a base shape in Fusion 360 and apply a voronoi pattern in Meshmixer. First, I created a basic shape in Fusion 360 that would serve as the foundation for my voronoi design. Then, I used Meshmixer to deform the square-shaped mesh into a triangular one, creating more interesting shapes and patterns. To get the best results, try reducing or remeshing your model if you have trouble with triangle counts. I really enjoyed watching this video because it walked me through each step of the process in detail. That's why I was able to apply what I learned to my own project. By learning how to create a voronoi pattern, I discovered that applying a plane cut can be super helpful when working with detailed models. One downside to printing these objects is that they take longer than average (FFP printing). However, for me, it's worth it for the end result - a beautiful, high-quality product. So go ahead and give this design a try!
