This is my rendition of a recent Oakley sunglass display stand. My version uses 6-32 machine screw hardware for the upper "hoops." I could have created this to completely snap together, but it would have consumed much more time. My total CAD effort was just under and hour. The base hoop is attached to the base's post using a #6 sheet metal screw. You can substitute metric hardware or other sizes as needed to match what you have laying around.
