Ring size as modeled: US Size 8 Ring volume: 0.97 cm³ Dimension mm: X 21.76, Y 23.92, Z 23.64 The ring is modeled with a US size 8 (diameter = 18.14mm approx.), ensuring that when scaled up, there will be no problem with wall thickness, particularly for most metal 3D printing. To scale up the ring to fit your finger size, I recommend using Meshmixer, a free software from Autodesk. Import the ring and choose Analysis/Measure from the left menu. Select Type: Edge to Edge, Direction: Outward (N), Snapping Mode: Snap to Vertices. Click on the inner diameter of the ring and get a red line with a reading on the right side. To scale up, go to Edit Menu/Transform and increase any size value, ensuring Uniform Scaling is checked. Repeat the measuring process until you get your correct finger size. Once done, export the model as STL Binary Format, which is recommended. If you want a custom ring or jewelry item, contact me.
