Sunflower (Plants vs Zombies)

It's high time we add another model to our Plants vs Zombies collection, don't you think? Citron and Peashooter were feeling a bit down, so I created the Sunflower to brighten up their day. I crafted the model in ZBrush by first shaping the head and pulling out the stem, giving me a clear view of the proportions and allowing me to start filling in the rest of the features like the petals and facial details. By reusing assets, I saved a ton of time. Next, I printed it out on my trusty Wanhao D7 resin printer. It was my first real model I printed on it, and let's just say it exceeded all my expectations - it turned out way better than I thought it would be! However, I did encounter some minor lifting from the bed, but other than that, it printed flawlessly. After that, I handed it off to Chelsey to work her magic. She primed it up and then began painting it using her airbrush for the main colors and gradients, followed by paintbrushes and acrylic paints to add the final details.
