Sunflower Coaster

This design was crafted with a compact OpenSCAD file - fewer than 30 lines were needed to bring it to life. If you decide to edit and compile the OpenSCAD file yourself, be prepared for a wait, as it took nearly an hour to complete on my PC. The Thingiverse community might not need yet another coaster model, but this concept seemed like a fitting use of the idea. The spiral pattern of spheres employs the Golden Ratio in much the same way that tiny flowers are arranged within a sunflower's head.
