Sundvik Book Holder
prusaprinters

This is book holder design to clip on the side of the IKEA Sundvik crib. I made two version. A plain one (easier to print) and a honeycomb version. The honeycomb is 25% lighter than the plain version, it's easier to see the book in the holder but the downside is the angle of the honeycomb is at 60°. It's printable but the surface finish is only okay.

I highly recommend PETG. I'm pretty certain that PLA will snap in two part when clipping (I haven't tried it).

Print with the “S” laying on the bed, no support required. I used brim for both to prevent lifting. Rectilinear infill @ 15% for better strength.

To be safely used near a crib and child under 3, print without scaling, use non-toxic material and remove any sharp edges. Also, the hexagon are 15.4mm minimum opening. This meet JPMA opening size to prevent finger entrapment.
