Traditionally known as a woodcutter's or farmer's clock, this instrument allows for accurate determination of local time. The accompanying image displays a cardboard prototype that has been skillfully cut and engraved using a high-precision laser cutter. My intention is to reproduce the design in brass utilizing a state-of-the-art Roland engraver. To replicate the project, start by designing it on Corel Draw, followed by precision laser etching and cutting on an Epilog 45W laser engraver. With a diameter of 168 mm, the dimensions can be modified but will require adjustments to various components. I am currently brainstorming innovative solutions for swivel joints; possible materials include brass pins and rivets or, alternatively, attempting to create the design in acrylic as a starting point.
