Sun Microsystems SBUS Slot Cover
thingiverse
This a a "spring clip" style slot cover for SBUS slots on Sun hardware. I modeled this off my IPX slot cover, but if we assume that Sun kept tight standards and tolerances for their hardware designs - this should fit any machine with an SBUS slot. Because of the clips, and the tiny "nubs" on each that go into the bottom two holes on the panel, you will need supports. Also since these are so thin and fragile, I would highly suggest breakaway or dissolvable support. I used Polymaker PolySupport (breakaway) and had no issues removing the support from in between the springs. You can also print "face down" however you might get a rougher texture due to a raft / support layer that your slicer will likely put underneath. UPDATE 20230329: Split this out to 4 files. Basically the same as the original - but the spring clips are a bit better supported now. The 4 files include both vented + solid versions, and each of those with/without top tabs. So 4 files total. The tabs fit my IPX but not SS20 for example. UPDATE 20230404: Finally got some ABS + HIPS to print with. This is much better as ABS vs. PLA. Much too fragile as PLA and would break.
