Sun and Sails
pinshape
Faux stained glass-light catcher crafted from ABS material, printed at a resolution of .3mm. To assemble the design, I applied acetone to bond the individual pieces into recessed areas within the frame. PLA users may substitute white glue for this purpose. Note: My faux stained glass models are optimized for an 8 x 8 printing platform. However, if you choose to resize them, be aware that the components might become too fragile to handle. Additionally, when scaling down, it is crucial to ensure that your "glass" pieces consist of at least two layers after slicing. The frame prints upright, while the individual pieces print upside down; simply flip each piece over and insert it into the upright frame.
