Sump Pump Contact Sensor
thingiverse
Twice the faulty check valve on the pump malfunctioned, causing a blockage that prevented the pumps from draining the water. As a result, the basement was flooded. Luckily, I had an extra contact sensor for my iSmartAlarm system on hand. So, I designed this device to notify us when the water level gets too high. It activates when the battery backup kicks in and deactivates when the battery backup shuts down. Print Settings Printer: Raise 3D N2 Plus Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.20 Infill: 5% Notes: I also bought a brass toilet float arm and float valve for added protection against future flooding incidents.
