Sumo250 - quad copter fpv racer
thingiverse
This is a 250 class drone, the actual size being 233 due to my 3D printer build area constraints. The drone was designed with Fusion 360 software, and you can download the source file for your own use. My aim was to create a drone for FPV racing that features a single-piece body and a crash-resistant structure that minimizes damage upon impact. To print this drone model, you'll need a build area of at least 195x205; however, I highly recommend using a space of 215x215 for better adhesion on the first layer. The weight of the 3D printed parts comes out to 90g, while the total weight, including all electronics and batteries, is approximately 320g – that's with liberal use of hot glue to secure cables, the flight controller (Naze32), camera, ESC, BEC, etc. Here are the drone's specifications: * Motors: EMAX PM1806 paired with 5030 GemFan propellers or 5045 tri-blade setups * ESCs: ZTW 18A units for reliable performance * Power Management: HobbyKing BECs to regulate power distribution * Transmitter: Boscam 200mw TX modules for clear signal transmission * Camera: Compact CMOS cameras with 700tvl resolution
