SUMO - the small ubiquitin-like modifier

Small Ubiquitin-Like Modifier (SUMO) based on the initial model developed by Bayer et al. (1998). Visit the RCSB website to explore PDB structure 1A5R in more detail. To visualize this protein, I used UCSF's Chimera software, where I selected the first model chain and enhanced the ribbon representation for clarity. The STL file was then exported from the scene. The 3D model of SUMO was further refined in Blender. Aarono deserves a big thank you for sharing valuable insights on molecular modeling, which greatly assisted me during this process. The image color scheme illustrates hydrophobic regions; however, please note that it is designed for single-color prints rather than intricate multicolor visualizations.
