Summer Sails
thingiverse
Create a fake stained glass-like effect with this clever trick. Print the frame of the design standing upright and the "glass" pieces facing downwards, so you can flip them over to create a seamless fit in the upright frame. Next, print each "glass" piece with two perimeter layers and no top layer but double-layered at the bottom. Include a 15% honeycomb infill for strength and structure. Once your design is complete, if you've printed it out of ABS plastic, all you need to do is use some acetone applied to an artist's brush to gently attach each piece to its correct place within the frame.
