Elephants crave splashing around in water, especially when they have an audience. When they lift their tails, it's a signal that they're thirsty for a drink. To keep the entire elephant submerged while filling it up is essential. By pushing the tail down and aiming the trunk, you can make someone get thoroughly soaked. Two elephants playing together are guaranteed to create unforgettable summer memories. Don't worry if your elephant seems too small - just scale it up! This project works best when printed with the legs facing downwards. Be warned: this project is not for beginners. To ensure smooth operation, the interior of the elephant must be extremely smooth. Give it a good polish and apply plenty of grease to reduce friction and make it watertight. Two O-rings complete the piston. The dimensions of these critical components need to be spot on (check out the photograph). Open SCAD files for all four parts are included - pay special attention to the piston, as it may require some fine-tuning depending on the surface finish and the O-rings. Kids will absolutely adore this!
