Summer Cottage

The summer cottage in Pertunmaa, Middle-Finland was constructed in 1921 from logs; however, it lacks a chimney or fireplace. The planking over log might have been done in the '60s as simple log construction was considered common for the locals then. Future changes and advancements may have altered these practices. An .obj file (77 MB) is available for examination, while AutoCAD master drawings of this centenary cottage can be found here: Master Drawings. The effort put into documentation is due to the need for planning permission despite its age, with "by the book" officers handling the process.
