Many households have plots or pots inside their homes, with many of them being for edible consumption; given the maintenance and large number of plants, automatic irrigation systems can be extremely helpful. However, due to the cost of these technologies, most low-income individuals cannot access them. This design allows for consistent water supply for plants and expanding crops with less maintenance than manual irrigation, which is used in various areas.
