Sullivan Dynatron Starter with Battery Box
thingiverse
I designed end caps for Sullivan Dynatron starter and then added a battery box to the bottom of it. You can find my original end caps design here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4356339\r\n\r\nI only modified the back end cap, so all other parts are still the same as the original design.\r\nFor the back end cap, I moved the wires' output hole so they go directly to the battery box.\r\n\r\nThe battery box is attached to the end caps using 4pcs M4x10 countersunk screws.\r\nOn the bottom of the battery box, there are holes for an allen key that makes it easy to mount. After tightening the screws, I added rubber feet over the holes.\r\n\r\nBattery box inner dimensions (with cover on):\r\nWidth: 75mm\r\nHeight: 30mm\r\nDepth: 155mm\r\n\r\nThe battery box cover slides into place and I used a candle to reduce friction on the sliding surfaces. There are 4pcs ø5x2mm magnets that ensure the cover stays in its place.
