Sullivan DynaTron Starter End Caps
thingiverse
I wanted more space between the starter and the ground. I also wanted to give the starter a fresh new look by swapping out the old, scratched ends for brand new ones. The outcome was this design, and I'm thrilled with it. These end caps definitely upgrade the appearance of the starter and everything I had in mind came to life. Additionally, I added a voltmeter and a power switch to the back plate, so you can keep an eye on the battery charge without having to remove the battery itself. If you don't need or want them, there are also files with no holes for the voltmeter and power switch. For both end caps, I attached M4 nuts to the bottom. These can be used, for example, to mount a battery box and so on. To try something new, I designed cover plates for the front and back cap. I used the back plate cover to conceal the electronics. The cover plates were intended to simply press into place, but there might need to be some adjustments made with these, which is why they're called "experimental".
