Sukhoi Su-47 fighter
thingiverse
The stunning Sukhoi SU-47 fighter aircraft now comes to life on Thingiverse with its innovative forward swept wings. I didn't design this marvel myself, but rather cleaned up and streamlined a fantastic model created by G15 on GrabCad. This detailed replica stands at an impressive 1/25 scale or 3 feet long when printed in original size. For now, it hasn't been sliced for any specific printer size, but feel free to drop me a comment if you need files tailored to your machine's specifications. Alternatively, grab Netfabb Basic and slice the model yourself for complete customization. Please note that this is an untested and unfinished design, however, I've made sure it's solid in Netfabb and appears flawless in the slicing engine. I'll post updates and pictures once I successfully bring this incredible aircraft to life. Remember that due to the slender air inlets/engine exhausts, be cautious not to over-scale the model, as this may render those features unprintable. EDIT: Two sliced versions are now available for ease of printing and flexibility! The first version splits the design into separate parts, allowing you to print both front and back, as well as wings and canards. Please use supports due to the extreme overhangs on these components. For a more versatile option, try the second version, which splits into six separate parts and doesn't require supports.
