This is a TPU version of my first model to replace a suitcase wheel.https://www.printables.com/model/212611-suitcase-replacement-spare-wheels-fusion360-file-iFeaturesThe structural parts can be printed in any hard and durable material (I use PETG)The part that has contact with the surface can be printed in TPU or any other flexible filament that will work for this setupConstructionYou need the “upper” and the “lower” part printed in hard and durable materialYou need to print the “ring” part in TPU or FlexThe “ring” part goes in the middle and the two “upper” and “lower” parts will hold it in placePrintingHard parts: Use a minimum of 4 (better 6) perimeters. I printed it with a 0.6mm nozzle (3.6mm). The more perimeters you have, the stronger the holder will be. This two parts are structural parts and need to be strongUse support from build plate onlySoft PartI used 3D Jake TPU with a shore hardened of A95. It is very hard, but still minimal flexible.Depending on your material: I had to split the ring in the middle and print the half with the big flat part facing the print bed. I just printed 2x the half's. With this TPU I had problems on the overhang so I couldn't print it in one size. No supportBrim is highly recommended. I had inner and outer brim (1cm each) to make sure the parts where holding on my printbed)BOM6x M3 screws (16mm lenght)6x M3 nuts2x “oben” (hard part)2x “unten” (hard part)V1: 2x ring_full (if your TPU can handle the overhangs)V2: 4x ring_half (with this you should be able to print any flexible filament, no overhang no support)Assembly guideStep 1V1Put the TPU ring over one of the partsStick the two hard parts togetherV2Put the two half parts of the ring over each of the hard parts. Make sure the flat side of the parts are inwardsStep 2Use the screws and the nuts so the wheel will hold togetherIf you hear a “noise” when you shake it: The screw is to loose, you need to tighten it moreYes, you need to tighten it really hard, this is why I used PETGThe wholes are just a bit to small, you have to push (when screwing) the scrubs in. This is on purpose to make it more stable.Step 3Replace the wheelsStep 4Upload a make ;) Replacement guideA guide how to replace the wheel on most of the common suitecases that uses this kind of wheels is available on my first design: https://www.printables.com/model/212611-suitcase-replacement-spare-wheels-fusion360-file-i  You are not allowed to upload my model on any other platform without my permission. The same goes for a remix of my models.
