The Suicide Squad is a 2016 superhero film directed by David Ayer and produced by DC Entertainment. The movie takes place after the events of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and follows Harley Quinn, a former psychiatrist turned supervillain, as she joins a team of villains sent to a remote island for training. Led by Captain Rick Flag, the team consists of characters like Deadshot, a skilled assassin; El Diablo, an explosive expert with a troubled past; Slipknot, a pyromaniac with a penchant for causing chaos; and Captain Boomerang, a ruthless Australian mercenary.
