Sugar Scoop

My mother owned a wooden sugar shovel, and my sister also desired one of that same size. My father then stated he would like to have "one number" smaller in size. I grabbed my calipers, took some measurements, and created a quick model in Fusion 360. Nothing fancy was needed, but it should be close to the original design. Since I didn't know what "one number smaller" meant, I made two smaller variations. Time was running low, so I printed the smaller ones and gave them to my father. And now everything went differently than expected. Both prints were too small, but the wooden one fit perfectly in size. My mother said that the original shovel was actually too big for her needs. So she picked the small ones, and my father got the wooden one. Who could have predicted this turn of events?
