Sugar Cube Mold
thingiverse
Create sugar cubes with ease using this DIY method. Print an ABS mold for a silicone mold that creates 1/2 inch sugar cubes, each weighing about 2 grams. Mix granulated sugar with a small amount of water to create the damp sand-like texture needed. Add flavored extracts and food coloring if desired. Fill the silicone mold with sugar and place it in a warm spot to harden. In approximately 60 minutes, remove the hardened cubes from the mold, using a warm oven or dehydrator to speed up the process. Note that imperial measurements are used in this method, so scale files accordingly.
