Suction hood for Stepcraft 2/600 mill with Kress 800kfme
thingiverse
This is a custom suction hood designed specifically for my StepCraft 2/600 mill, paired with a Kress 800kfme. The design centers around a 25mm suction hose. The orange plate seen here is the StepCraft plate that holds the mill in place, which does not require printing. You will need to have on hand: A 25mm suction hose. One M5x30mm screw One M5 nut Sixteen Neodym magnets with a height of 3mm and a diameter of 5mm Update 08.01.2017: I've added a suction shoe that can be mounted atop the "Saugstutzen" to create a suction funnel for manual use with the suction system. Update 05.09.2016: I corrected the placement of the pin on Oberteil_V2, which fits into the plate of the mill. I also modified the brush component to accommodate a strip brush and added a clamping part to secure it in place. This piece is quite tight to hold the brush firmly. I ordered a brush with 30mm bristles from Enobi. Additionally, I incorporated holders for the Kress mill's cable and the 40mm tubes that are installed in my housing into the suction hose design.
