Anker Roav is a fantastic DVR, boasting an impressive suction cup mount that shines as long as the windscreen is positioned at a slight angle, just like in every vehicle. However, there's a catch - lorries and trucks dominate our roads, and their windshields are predominantly vertical, rendering the standard mount ineffective. To rectify this, a simple extension is required to point the camera straight forward without gazing down at the ground. A bit of filing and sanding will be necessary to achieve a snug fit. I opted for printing my extension with PLA 95% infill, but 100% infill would undoubtedly be even better. For a secure hold, you'll need a sturdy 3mm bolt (22mm) paired with a matching nut.
