succulent pot tray
thingiverse
My wife had a beautiful planter that was prone to leaking slightly more than necessary. She asked me to create a small tray for it to rest on so the excess water wouldn't seep onto the windowsill. I designed this and found it uninteresting, so I added the heart to make it more visually appealing. I also removed the initials from the Thingiverse file. I printed it using Hatchbox wood PLA. The printer settings were set at 186C nozzle temperature and 60C bed temperature. The layer height was 0.1mm and the print speed was 25mm/sec for most layers, with a slower speed of 10mm/sec used for the first layer to ensure proper adhesion. I also increased the outer shell thickness to 1.0mm to allow for some light sanding after printing.
