You don't need any extra support, just place it anywhere and rotate to fit your bed if necessary. It attaches easily using an 11-inch zip-tie. The boys had a blast using the shovel on their last adventure, but didn't quite manage to build an igloo, so this saw will come in handy for cutting out snow blocks next time around.
