I imported and resized the speaker holes for a diameter of 48mm, leaving a lip and some tolerance since the speaker's outer diameter is 50mm. I then converted the .stl file to .stp using FreeCAD and imported it into 123D, where I smoothed the internal surfaces and double-checked the speaker hole size. I'm planning to try out these speakers: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2pcs-2-inch-4-Ohm-3-watt-speakers-small-louderspeaker-diameter-50mm-for-Mini-Amplifier-special/32717638213.html or maybe these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/IG-Audio-Equipment-4-Ohm-3W-50mm-Mounting-Dia-Horn-Midrange-Speaker/32975412173.html, or perhaps these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/AIYIMA-2Pcs-Mini-Audio-Portable-Speakers-Altavoz-4-Ohm-3W-50MM-36MM-Magnetic-Speaker-DIY-For/32889172321.html. So far, I haven't printed the enclosure yet, but I'm confident that it will work well. To assemble it, I'll need to glue the lid on - I might also create a variant where magnets can be added, but gluing will likely provide the best results. If you decide to print this design, please let me know how it turns out and don't forget to add some polyfill for better low-frequency response. Keep in mind that I didn't perform any calculations for volume or efficiency; I simply scaled up the original design to accommodate the 50mm diameter speakers rated at 3W.
