Here's the spun text: I'm taking a crack at painting a fully-realized 3D model from scratch, end-to-end, using Substance Painter as my go-to tool. The base model comes courtesy of Allegorithmic's excellent tutorial series on YouTube, which I've been following closely to get up to speed. Every texture and map has been meticulously baked in SP, with separate layers for alpha channels and decals carefully crafted in Photoshop.
