The person standing before me is clearly not human. Their artificial limbs are a dead giveaway, and their robotic eyes scan the room with an unnerving intensity. A faint humming noise emanates from their chest, a sound that grows louder as they take a step closer. I can see the faint outline of wires beneath their synthetic skin, a network of pulsing electronics that threatens to overwhelm me at any moment.
