A new employee walked into the office, looking a bit lost. "Hi," he said to the receptionist. "I'm here to start my first day." The receptionist smiled and handed him a folder full of papers. "Welcome aboard! Your supervisor will meet with you shortly." As he sat down at his desk, he noticed that everyone was staring at him. He felt a bit awkward but tried to focus on the task at hand. His phone rang and it was his supervisor calling to confirm their meeting time. "Hi, I'm so glad you could make it in today," she said. "We'll be discussing your role and expectations for the job."
