Subaru WRX medal/coin
prusaprinters
I recently bought a 2017 Subaru WRX. For reasons not worth explaining, I named the car Mutley. So I decided he needed a medal. Found some Subaru logo SVG files, created a basic medal in Tinkercad, and viola! Included in the file pack are the double-sided medal, the same medal split in two to print without supports (but requiring gluing afterwards), and again split in 2 but with alignment holes & a set of pegs- can be glued or not. The pegs are a TIGHT fit, and this is by design. I also included a 1-sided blank, a 2-sided blank, and a 2-sided split blank. Print Settings Printer: Monporice Maker Select i3 v2.1 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .16mm Infill: 20% rectilinear (Simplify3D) Notes: The example in the photos was printed using a filament sample from the August Makerbox called "Silk" from Beaver 3D. I printed the model that was split, with alignment pins. I printed at 30mm/s (10-40 recommended) with a raft ( only because I have first layer issues without a raft), 3 shells, and 210C nozzle, 60C bed, cooling fan to 100% from layer 2 up.
