Subaru WRX medal/coin
thingiverse
I recently acquired a 2017 Subaru WRX that I've named Mutley for reasons too obscure to explain. Deciding he needed an award, I discovered some Subaru logo SVG files and created a basic medal in Tinkercad with ease. With a few clicks, voila! I had a custom medal. The included file pack contains the double-sided medal, split into two sections to print without supports but requiring assembly afterwards, as well as the same medal divided into two halves with alignment holes and pegs – both options can be glued or left unattached. The pegs are designed to fit snugly, ensuring a secure bond. I've also included blank medals in various formats: one-sided, two-sided, and two-sided split blanks for added versatility. Print Settings: Printer: Monporice Maker Select i3 v2.1 Rafts: Irrelevant Supports: None Resolution: 0.16mm Infill: 20% rectilinear (Simplify3D) Notes: The example photos show a model printed using the August Makerbox's Silk filament sample from Beaver 3D. I printed the split medal with alignment pins, using a print speed of 30mm/s (recommended range: 10-40 mm/s), a raft for added stability, three shells, and temperature settings of 210C nozzle and 60C bed, with the cooling fan at maximum capacity from layer two onwards.
