The stock Cobb SF air box on the Subaru WRX suffers from limitations in its sheet metal, resulting in a notable gap between the intake and the top of the air box (2-3 inches squared). This part will seamlessly integrate with the existing fasteners and provide enhanced coverage. At present, I have not conducted sufficient testing to assert any reduction in temperature. Given the part's affordability and simplicity, it seems worthwhile to explore its potential benefits. I believe the newer WRX air box (2015+) has obviated the need for this component.
