Cap is designed to sit in the inside wheel hub to cover the hub from salt, dirt, etc. It is sized so that it is a snug fit. 1 of 4 of mine was a bit loose when fully inserted (but couldnt wiggle off) so I just added a small dab of silicone glue (ShoeGoo) in 1 spot so it didnt rattle. Cap is spaced off the wheel enough and cupped so that it clears the hub bolt. 56mm center bore. 4mm into wheel hub 7mm recess into cap for hub bolt 62mm overall diameter of outer portion. Got the text from user "brenwaterys" which has an alloy wheel cap design. Customized a steel cap for the dimensions I needed.
