Subaru relay and plug mounting plate
thingiverse
I required a relay/plug holder for my VW T2b Subaru conversion project. This custom-made relay/plug holder is designed to be mounted on a solid base, securely holding standard Subaru relays and plugs in place. Since Japanese cars use identical types of relays and plugs, this design may also prove useful for other vehicle conversions. The innovative design features six individual holders, which can be cut to various lengths as needed. Each holder is versatile and can be folded in three different ways to accommodate different relay or plug configurations. Refer to the accompanying pictures for a more detailed understanding of the design's functionality. **Creating Your Own Relay/Plug Holder** To produce this custom part, you'll need to employ either a laser cutter or water jet cutting technique using 0.8 mm steel. The design has also been successfully tested on 0.8 mm stainless steel. Once cut, simply trim the strip of six holders to your preferred length and then fold each one according to your specific needs. Small holes are strategically placed as indicators for folding, ensuring a precise fit.
