After using silicone cleaner on the small insert at the bottom of my car's cup holder, I noticed that my Diet Mug Root Beer can started sliding around and sloshing out during turns. This adapter solves the problem by fitting perfectly around the can, preventing it from moving while still allowing easy insertion and removal. The slight air resistance effect created a subtle drag on the can, but I found this to be a nice feature - if you prefer less resistance, simply add some exhaust channels to the inside or outside of the adapter. When printing the adapter, remember to flip it 180 degrees so that the wider part faces down in the slicer program. This will ensure a smooth print. While this design should fit various car models, mine is specifically for a 2016 model - however, I've since discovered that it also fits my friend's 2018 Outback.
