Oh yeah! World's second 3D printable Subaru Justy MK1 (KAD) model is finally here, and the best part? It's free! Check out the first one over at shorturl.at/evwzW. And if you want to see some photos of the white version, head on over to my FB post at shorturl.at/dzMS5. I'm planning on adding door accessories, a lower roof version (perfect for those US owners), and a 1.0L front grill. Who knows, maybe I'll even create a three-door version later on! And if you're feeling fancy, I might just whip up a facelifted model from the 1989+ era. It's been over a decade since I started working on this project, but my muse finally kicked in and I managed to crank it out in just one weekend. The scale is about 1:35, and all you'll need are four M3 bolts (10mm or longer will do the trick) and optional three-millimeter washers for a smooth ride. If you want to use M4 bolts instead, you can print it at 133% scale - it'll be roughly 1:26. The wheels are designed to look just like OEM steelies, with a line width of 0.25 millimeters. And because I wanted to minimize supports, I printed the axles separately - all I needed was a tiny touch on the build plate. Since I used ABS, I simply applied some acetone juice to get them stuck in place. Don't expect me to win any awards for painting skills, though! If you happen to find this model and want to show off your handiwork, be sure to post it up! And if you manage to fit the model into a game, let me know - I'd love to see it smash its way around some track! Update 28.7.2020: New body versions are now available with bigger side indicators and side mirrors - both without door trim and with door trim for your convenience.
