Subaru Impreza Front Speaker Spacer

A custom-made spacer ring was fabricated to fit Sony XS-GTX1622S 6.5" mids in a MY06 Hawkeye Impreza, replacing old wood ones that had swollen. This ring should suit most 6" - 6.75" aftermarket speakers and raise them by 20mm for clearance with the window when down (owing to the low-profile standard speaker). The print settings used ABS at 0.3mm layer height, a 0.5mm nozzle, rapid speed of 70mm/s, and prioritized strength over quality with 13% infill, 1.5mm shells, and top/bottom surfaces. Thick shells are crucial for speaker screw support.
