Subaru Forester Speaker adapters (SG 2002 - 8)

I created these custom mounts to allow me to install aftermarket speakers in my 2004 Forester seamlessly. I installed 5.25" rear and 6.5" front Fli speakers, which significantly improved sound quality. You can find similar designs on Thingiverse if these exact models don't meet your needs. The rears are only 7mm thick; be sure to check new speaker clearance as the ones I installed just brushed against the grill/panel. The fronts are 12mm thick and allowed my Fli speakers to clear the window when rolled down, also easily clearing the grill/panel. To increase clearance at the window glass if needed, you can always scale up the thickness in your slicer. I recommend printing these mounts in ABS to prevent warping in heat; PLA should work fine too. The photo only shows the rears; I forgot to take photos of the fronts, but they follow the same concept.
