Subaru Forester SF Coin holder Cupholder
thingiverse
Hey All, Own a first gen Subaru Forester? Frustrated with the scarcity of cup holders? Me too! I designed a straightforward cup holder to address this issue. Designed to fit a standard can on the first layer and slightly bigger second layer. Files: There are two designs attached: 1pc and 2pc designs. For those who struggle with supports, there's a 2pc design. For those bold enough to print the 1 pc design with supports, it contains an additional feature of a small tray. I utilized some sheet metal screws that I had on hand, but I discovered similar ones on McMaster-Carr (90197A194_ZINC-PLATED STEEL SCREW FOR THICK SHEET METAL). Bill of Materials: * 1pc Design 1x Cupholder1pc.stl 1x Backing Plate.stl 2x #10 1/2" Sheet metal screws 1x Tray (Optional) * 2pc Design 1x Cupholder2pc 1of2.stl 1x Cupholder2pc 2of2.stl 1x Backing Plate.stl 6x #10 1/2" Sheet metal screws Installation: 1. (2pc) Assemble Cupholder2pc 1of2 and Cupholder2pc 2of2 with four #10 1/2" sheet metal screws. 2. Remove the trim piece behind the shifter (2 screws with plastic caps). 3. Remove both coin slot pieces (Unplug heated seats if applicable). 4. Place the main print/assembly on top and the backing plate underneath. 5. Use two #10 1/2" sheet metal screws to clamp the unit into place. 6. Reinstall. 7. (1pc) Place the Tray. Images/embosses copyrighted (probably) by Subaru. Inventor outputs dimensions strangely to Cura so I scaled up by 1000% FYI
