One of the factory clamp halves broke for my 2004 Forester's roof rails, so this is a replacement. I modified the design slightly from the original so that this piece can be used on either the right or left side of the car, rather than the directional ones used on the OEM. Fits 03-08 SG Subaru Forester Roof Rails, may fit other Subaru models from that generation as well I also used a couple of strips of electrical tape on the surfaces that interface with the roof of the car for a little extra grip to keep the rail from sliding.
