I dread taking my car to a mechanic, yet I'm not equipped to tackle bigger tasks on my own. It's frustrating that they always seem to misplace clips and covers, then claim they were never there in the first place. To avoid this, I've started making backup files of the original parts while I still have them. This approach is specifically designed for a Subaru Forester SH, but since Subarus are so modular, it's likely applicable to multiple models across various generations. Update 14.03: I refined my design with relief cuts and bevels to enhance fitment against the wiper arm. Update: I've added version 3, which includes a lock/alignment pin for improved functionality. Update 09.06: Cztek posted Thing #4415369, which offers an even better solution; I highly recommend using his design instead.
