This is a direct clip-on replacement for the cover above a 2008-2011 Subaru WRX self-dimming mirror. If you have a dash-cam or other powered device, such as a radar detector mounted close to the mirror, or even a smartphone if you're driving Uber, you can use this to hold the cable(s) neatly in place at the top of the windshield, where they can be hidden in the roof lining. In addition to the WRX, this fits numerous other Subaru models that have the self-dimming mirror. To remove the original cover, simply slide it gently downwards towards the mirror, and lift the edge closest to the glass outwards then ease the cover off. Repeat the process in the opposite direction to put the new one on. Models with both left and right clips are included, depending on your cabling needs.
