The custom dash cam mount I designed fits the 2018 Subaru Outback perfectly, and is likely to work on other models as well. Installation was a breeze, with the physical fitment being surprisingly good. However, I need to test the camera's view to ensure it's exactly what I want. Depending on the results, I might have to make some minor adjustments to get everything just right. One thing that gives me peace of mind is knowing that any small gaps between the mount and the dashboard can be easily filled with 3M automotive double-sided tape.
