Hatch Carabiner that can be inserted into the Hatch Latch so that the car assumes the lift-gate is closed. To insert: Open lift-gate, insert carabiner into latch, and close lift-gate almost all the way until you hear the locking mechanism running. Then open lift gate as desired. To remove: Press lift-gate open button on the outside -- latch will release, and carabiner will fall out. If lift-gate refuses to operate, long-press the lift-gate button on the key fob.
